Microsoft just released the final version of the Windows Phone SDK 7.1.1. This version allows you to develop and test for the new 256 MB phone devices. You can run the 512-MB and 256-MB emulator side by side to compare functionality. Also good news is that this update allows you to develop for Windows Phone under the Windows 8 Customer Preview.
